The Band For Today Honor Band is made up of intermediate and advanced students who are nominated by their teacher. The Honor Band is a full day of sectional rehearsals and ensemble rehearsals, culminating in an afternoon performance. Students are selected based upon attendance, attitude, ability and citizenship. The day is committed to the highest quality of instruction and performance and a variety of music is chosen which is always exciting and challenging.

A parent response to the 2010 Honor Band:

Congratulations on a SUPERB Honors Band Concert!!  Thank you for allowing our daughter the opportunity to participate in and learn from this wonderful experience.  Her grandparents were extremely impressed with the caliber of the musicians and quality of the music.  Her brothers were also inspired.  The time and effort you and your fellow Band For Today instructors put forth is truly evident and appreciated!
